ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN
For 115 years, Family & Children’s Services has been protecting children, preventing abuse and neglect, strengthening and preserving families by providing positive guidance for at-risk youth and helping individuals overcome personal and situational crisis.
Last year, the tournament raised over $35,000 in support of Family & Children’s Services’ mission. This year, we hope to exceed last year’s total to help others, with special emphasis on children and youth who need expert counseling and other mental health services but cannot afford them.
Each year, donations help support FACS’ community outreach and ongoing efforts. Because of caring, loyal and generous supporters, like you, we are able to continue to:

REACH OUT TO THE COMMUNITY
- Organize and coordinate the collection and distribution of toys, domestic goods, food cards, furniture and clothing on behalf of those families most in need and/or at risk of homelessness, especially during the holiday season;
- Participate in community events to inform and provide resources to high-risk populations;
- Organize and coordinate respite to foster families to enable all members to experience cultural enrichment, entertainment and relaxation;
- Mentor teenagers through the power of community service in collaboration with the Youth Service Bureau, the Probation Department and Social Services programs;
- Facilitate and provide all necessary resources in the domestic and international adoption process;
- Seek continued support for expansion and increased services to families and communities.
