Family Stabilization Services
Services are designed to strengthen
individual and family functioning,
improve parenting skills, prevent
abuse and neglect, stabilize families
in crisis and enable families to
remain intact.
Child & Family
Permanency Services
Services are designed to provide
contact for parents, children and
siblings separated by foster care,
assess strengths of parents for child
permanency plans and possible family
reunification, assess and support
foster, adoptive and kinship families,
and place children in adoptive families
or other permanent homes.
Individual / Group / Couples
and Family Counseling
Services are designed to assess and
strengthen individual and family
functioning, prevent abuse and
neglect, prevent delinquency and
promote positive self-esteem and
individual development for children,
youth and adults.
Who We Serve
Family & Children’s Services serves
individuals of all ages and diverse
families of all income levels. We place
special emphasis on vulnerable, at risk,
disadvantaged, under-served and
other individuals and families who
may not otherwise have access to
human services. Of special concern are
children in need of protection, foster
care or adoption and families in need of
crisis intervention or reunification.
Our programs address the needs of
individuals and families who have
experienced one or more of the
following: abuse or neglect, family
disruption, crisis or conflict, domestic
violence, mental health problems,
substance abuse, juvenile delinquency,
truancy or other school-related
problems, homelessness, job loss or
other crises.

Services Overview
Family & Children’s Services carries
out its mission by providing a
comprehensive range of services,
including therapeutic, educational,
case management, home-based
support and basic needs services.
Our agency’s service continuum
allows clients access to a variety of
services within the agency. Our
agency services are client and
family-centered, individualized,
strength-based and culturally
sensitive, and are always voluntary,
with inherent respect for the
diversity, dignity and right to self determination
of all clients.
Services are provided at times in
home-based and community-based
locations accessible to clients and
their families. Where applicable,
fees may be charged on a sliding
scale. No client is denied access for
financial reasons. Service hours are
flexible to accommodate client needs.
